Burns began her career on the television industry in 1995, playing Peg the American-Spanish teenager on the comedy Out of the Blue. Burns started her TV career in 1995 when she was a part of the cast of the spanish-American teen sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). The following year, she starred in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action-packed series. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
